Who is this Kid?
Jalen is a LA based actor with southern roots that illuminates the power of vulnerability and truth on camera and stage through grounded, thought provoking performances. Raised in Mississippi, Jalen has honed his acting skills in performing arts schools and programs since 5th grade. He is a proud graduate of DePaul Theatre School BFA Acting program, one of the top ten acting conservatories in the country. After building a name for himself on the stages and within the casting offices of Chicago, he has now set his sights on the LA market. Jalen has recently had the pleasure of recurring as a guest star on FX’s Justified: City Primeval and AMC’s 61st Street. He looks forward to working on another great August Wilson play and staring in the next great biographical film on an African-American leader. Jalen is happily signed with Innovative Artist and Stagecoach Management.
